University Life

Haha well, first off this is probably a tad late to start (its already been a month) however i have contemplated over starting a blog for university; a fresh start. It really still feels like yesterday when I was still in high school just fooling around and joking around with my friends. The harsh reality never really hit until a week before moving into residence. It happened quite fast and before long it seemed like everyone drifted a part in their own ways.

Even faster was the transition period into residence, all of a sudden i was placed into an environment where i was to fend for myself in a townhouse shared with 5 other strangers and a roommate. I must say feelings of anxiety and excitement rushed throughout the first week. The night before moving in was probably the longest night of my life; minutes felt like hours, hours felt like weeks. However, it has definitely been a great experience im glad that i have decided to take this route and i have been blessed with a great group of housemates.

Well, that was what i thought in the first week... of course problems arose quickly. Differences in personalities, egos, and cultures. To make matters worse nobody in our house could cook or clean. In the first two weeks the fire alarm must have went off at least 4 times and i also remember creating an fireball on the oven making eggs. In this period the learning curve was steep and we had to transition from being spoonfed to cook and clean ourselves. Well, either that or starve and have a dreadfully dirty house.

Well, you can guess which option we took rite? of course we ate out 3 times a day and never cleaned up. We were pillaged with crickets and bugs and nobody seemed to give a shit. Well what can you expect from a house of guys? LOL. We'll our housing conditions and eating habits are alot better now but still far away from good. At least those "going to bed hungry while getting kept up by crickets" are over though. I havent even covered half the things that happened and i already wrote more than all my assignements combined; really speaks upon my work habits eh?

So anyways; my roommates are great. There is Kan; someone who seemed very nerdy at first never came down EVER. Occasionally he would come down once a week to whine about food then return to his World of Warcraft Lair aka his room on the top floor. However as i got to know him better he started to open up; now i think of him as a pretty funny guy that comes down once a week to whine about food then return to his WoW lair. Then there is Abdalla, this guy is probually one of the WIERDIES kids i ever met (seriously) haha no jk abdalla. The thing is he cannot pronounce R and just really lacks any potential to be a chef at all. However, he is a great guy to hang out with and isn't one of those sensative types. Not much to say about Vladamir other than he is a nice guy and likes to fight alot (contradictory i know).

Now SINA. this guy is hilarious and just plain cruel, but still HILARIOUS. He also has around 60 pounds on me and is an extremely angry DRUNK (stay away from him) LOL!. and of course my roommate Ekhwan. This guy is like family to me one of the most dependable guys i know. He is there for me when shit happens and he knows ill be there for him too.

And here is a picture of Abdalla and Ekhwan :)

So yeah; it seems like i have a 12.5% test tomorrow morning and what does it seem that im doing? im starting a blog on my university life.... sigh FML g.chaNN out for last minute cramming. (prob a part 2 soontimes) of course... alot of this is really condensed since i am a month late to start (Y) procrastination FTW haha
